DARDI is an original music project built around soulful songwriting, roots-driven rock, blues, and modern Americana.
Created by Dave Fogerty, DARDI is a deeply personal project inspired by family, life experiences, relationships, and the places that shape us. The name DARDI comes from the combination of Dave's parents' names, Darwin and Jodi, giving the project a meaning that goes far beyond a band name.
With a growing catalogue of original songs and a full-length album in development, DARDI is focused on building something authentic from the ground up—music that can live just as comfortably on a festival stage as it can through a pair of headphones.
THE STORY
DARDI started with a simple idea:
Create music that actually means something.
After years of performing professionally, touring, working with tribute projects, and developing as a live musician, Dave Fogerty wanted to create something completely his own.
DARDI became that outlet.
The project combines the raw emotion of blues and roots music with the songwriting sensibilities of rock, Americana, soul, and contemporary music. Rather than trying to fit into one genre, DARDI is built around the song first.
Every track has its own identity.
Some songs are about love.
Some are about loss.
Some are about finding your way home.
And some are simply about enjoying the ride.
At the center of everything is storytelling.
THE MUSIC
DARDI's music draws from a wide range of influences while maintaining a distinctly personal sound.

The goal isn't to recreate another artist's sound.
It's to take the musical influences that shaped Dave's life and turn them into something new.
The result is music that can move between stripped-down acoustic moments, soulful grooves, blues-influenced guitar, powerful rock arrangements, and emotionally driven songwriting.

Soulshine represents the beginning of the DARDI journey.

Drifting Through Midnight takes DARDI into a darker and more atmospheric direction.
The song explores the feeling of moving through uncertainty while searching for something—or someone—that brings you back into focus.
It represents another side of the DARDI songwriting catalogue and demonstrates the project's ability to move beyond a single sound.

I'm Going Home continues the story.

LIVE DARDI

Dave Fogerty is a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and professional live performer with years of experience performing across North America.
Known for his work as the frontman of Dave Fogerty (a tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival) and Lookin’ Back (a tribute to Bob Seger), Dave has developed extensive experience performing for large audiences, festivals, theatres, casinos, clubs, and private events.
DARDI represents a different side of that career.
Instead of interpreting the music of other artists, DARDI gives Dave the opportunity to tell his own stories through his own songs.
That combination of extensive live experience and original songwriting is at the heart of the DARDI project.
